Weekend 3: Spanish rice and chicken
Weekend 2 Pt. II: pesto pasta with grilled asparagus
[Dad ate the rest of my broccoli pasta, so that left me with nothing to eat for lunch on Monday. But that’s no problem! That gave me the opportunity to try making something else.]
Weekend 1: baked salmon with capers, diced tomatoes, zucchini, lemon, garlic, and rosemary [this is before I put it in the oven]
I’ve been on a long hiatus. Mostly because I’ve been really busy with school and work. By the time i get home, I’m exhausted. Plus I gotta study and do hwk all while stressed out. I dodn’t have much time to go out to eat or anything.
But hopefully, things will change for this blog this year. My new years resolution is to learn how to cook. before i didnt even know how to boil pasta correctly. from that moment I told myself “okay you are gonna learn how to cook this year. By December 2013, you’re gonna be a pro! And you need to step up your game bc you’re about to graduate from college and you don’t even know how to boil pasta. come on! you can do it if you put your mind to it!”
so I did. I’ll be posting up the meals I’ve been cooking on the weekends. I’m not sure if I will be cooking every weekend, but right now it seems plausible. I’m liking it so far.
Stay tuned for more food I encounter!
@star buffet with dad. They have the good ice-cream. Strawberry on top, mint chocolate chip in the middle, and cookies and cream on the bottom :)
Tacos @ a Taqueria
Chips and salsa + 1 mushroom, 2 beef fajita, and 1 chicken fajita. I was stuffed.
